How do i use mods from crysis?

OK i got the new patch and all,but how do i start using mods?i download them,and they are never there any help?and also.how do i get sandbox editor working?when i open it a gray box come up and dats it.How do i use mods from crysis?
I dont know much about mods.. but sandbox should work fine.. just run it from the exe file.. and then open up a map... ^^How do i use mods from crysis?

Crysis 2 Failed to initialize the GameStartup Interface!?

So i got Crysis 2, set the settings on maximum and worked fine. Today, i downloaded the 1.9 patch for Crysis 2, the directX11 patch, and the high resolution textures patch. Everything was installed successfully. But when i run the game from the shortcut, it says : Failed to initialize the GameStartup Interface!

What is causing this? Maybe the files weren't patched correctly?

My specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz

4 gb RAM

ATI Radeon HD 5750 1gb

DirectX 11

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

the exact same thing happened to me and i have been trying for over a week to get some help from ea support. so far just generic replies that have no value whatsoever. they finally said to uninstall and re-install. i also have windows 7 64 bit. i was almost all the way through the single player game when it automatically downloaded the 1.9 patch. since then i cannot even get to the game. good luck.

Crysis Help Please in crysis multiplayer it wont let me join to some and says kicked form server.

in crysis ive just downloaded the latest patch to play more multiplayer servers but on most that i click on to join, while the little window while its up after about 3 seconds it says 'kicked form server' even when i havent played yet and only a couple let me join. And i made a new account to see if that is the problem but it dosent work.Crysis Help Please in crysis multiplayer it wont let me join to some and says kicked form server.

a few reasons



1) ping too high

2)diffrent accounts wont work. the server track and identify you by your IP adress.

3)try download patch 1.21 hotfix for multi (google search it... gamespot and other websites dont have it yet)

Just bought crysis where does the 1.1 patch go?

I bought and installed crysis last night and when i tried to join an online game it kept saying server authentication failed so I downloaded the 1.1 patch but I don't know what folder to save the file in. there are many sub folders within the crytek folder you can save the file in but which one should i save the patch in.Just bought crysis where does the 1.1 patch go?
Just download the patch and click install it will auotomaticly go to the Crysis folder. Then do the same with the Crysis 1.2 patch. Awesome game and graphics ,happy gaming.Just bought crysis where does the 1.1 patch go?
it does not matter where u save the file...what matters is that u instal it when u download it....try it..ill work...install it directly into the crysis folder!!!!

How to install a patch on a computer game?

If I installed a fresh copy of a game like GTA IV or Crysis and I want to install a patch, what should I do?

Depends on the game and the patch. All patches should say individually how they are to be applied, whether online or in the readme file.



If it doesn't, you can probably assume you can just apply it straight.

I think its supposed to come in patch 1.2 but i cant find anything on it! Also i have the game on steam... if that even matters %26gt;.%26gt;When will crysis warhead sandbox be released?
